Confession time…I am obsessed with kettlebells. I was just looking over my list and realized the only think I really consistently work on is anything having to do with these balls of steel. The thing is, I am going to my RKC Certification course in about 2 months. This is a huge deal and takes a lot of prep. So prep I am doing.
In regards to the aforementioned Snatch Test I must pass…I have been practicing. My first real attempt was a few weeks ago and I got 92 snatches in 5 minutes. Pretty close! Attempt number two was a week and a half after that and I got all 100 snatches, but in 5:13 instead of 5 flat. I am gonna try again this weekend. I feel pretty good about it! As soon as I do it, that’ll be crossed off my list. But that doesn’t mean that I won’t ever snatch again…quite the contrary. I’ll be doing the test weekly until the RKC course (April 29).
Anyway, all this to say, I am gonna try to be more balanced and get my mind off the kb’s and work on some other goals too!
